Brasure’s Carpet Care was founded by David Brasure and his Uncle, Carroll Brasure, in 1983. In 1984, David and his Wife, Peggy Brasure, took over the business with one truck and an in-home office located in Selbyville, Delaware. They built the business with hopes of creating long, lasting relationships with their customers by providing exceptional customer service and quality cleaning. They have traveled the country becoming certified in all areas of carpet and rug cleaning. David is a Master Textile Cleaner through the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification). He was the 8th person in the country to become a Certified Rug Cleaning Specialist through ARCS (Association of Registrars and Collections Specialists). Peggy later became the 50th person in the country to become a Certified Rug Cleaning Specialist. David and Peggy have continued to educate themselves over the years and strive to use the most up to date technology available. They expanded the business and built a new state-of-the-art rug cleaning plant in 1995. From there they have greatly expanded the business while raising their two children.

Their Daughter, Amber Brasure, graduated from the University of Delaware in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Amber decided to join the family business as an office manager after graduation. In that time, Amber has become certified through the IICRC, became a Certified Master Rug Cleaner in 2013 and is currently Vice President of the business.

Their Son, Justin Brasure, began working along side of his Father at a very young age. At 15 years old, he received his first IICRC certification in carpet cleaning. Justin became an on-location service technician directly out of high school. He emerged himself into the carpet industry and received numerous IICRC certifications, became a Certified Master Rug Cleaner in 2013 and is currently Vice President of the business. Since then, Justin has learned all aspects of the business and strives to uphold the reputation his father brought to his loyal customers.

As Co-Vice Presidents, Amber and Justin’s goal is to continue to provide the highest level of service throughout the Eastern Shore. They have hopes of passing along the business to the third generation.
